LikeMyTweets adds a “Like This” link to your tweets. Your followers can then click that link and like the tweet.
It’s a little cumbersome, once you give access to the app, your tweets will have a “Like This” link to them. But, if you want your friends to like your tweets, this seems to be the only way for now.
Discover who likes your Tweets, as well as which topics resonate best with your tweeple. A simple “[Like it: ]” is automatically appended to your desired Tweets. When clicked a user has effectively Liked your Tweet. You can get notified as your Tweets are liked via Twitter direct message. Works with any Twitter client.

Adds a “Like This” link to your tweets
Similar to Facebook Like but for tweets

A Keyword is a word or short phrase that directs a person to a website when typed into a search engine.

Everyone should own at least a few KeyWords! (In any language)

At Kooday you can purchase the ownership of any word. (This is called a KeyWord) You can buy a KeyWord for as little as $.10 cents. Buying a Keyword is the only way to accumulate Profit-Share-Credits. These credits entitle you to share in our profits.

KeyWord ownership also allows you to link a website to the word. When someone performs a search they are sent to your website.
If somebody wishes to link their website to a KeyWord that you own they must pay you a fee or buy the KeyWord from you. Most of the profits are paid to you and some goes to your referrer and Kooday takes a small piece to share with our Profit-Share-Credit holders. Here is a heads up… If you happen to think of a great word, it would be a good idea to pay more than the minimum of $.10 cents because you are paid a percentage of the words value when someone adds a website or buys your KeyWord. Example: 30% of 10 dollars is more than 30% of 10 cents.

Kooday is a competitive Search Engine with a different and refreshing approach.

Other Search engines(like Google Adwords) use a bidding system and pay-per-click fees to link websites to keywords.

This is how they make most of their huge profits.

Kooday does not play by these rules, but makes it completely affordable for anyone to link their website to any search word.

Purchase a keyword and link your website to it, or if the keyword you want is too expensive, simply pay a very small fee to the owner of the KeyWord.

Purchase your keyword at Kooday.com

If you are 30, or older, you might think this is hilarious!

When I was a kid, adults used to bore me to tears with their tedious diatribes about how hard things were. When they were growing up; what with walking twenty-five miles to school every morning…. Uphill… Barefoot… BOTH ways. yadda, yadda, yadda

And I remember promising myself that when I grew up, there was no way in hell I was going to lay a bunch of crap like that on my kids about how hard I had it and how easy they’ve got it!
But now that I’m over the ripe old age of thirty, I can’t help but look around and notice the youth of today. You’ve got it so easy! I mean, compared to my childhood, you live in a damn Utopia!
And I hate to say it, but you kids today, you don’t know how good you’ve got it!

I mean, when I was a kid we didn’t have the Internet. If we wanted to know something, we had to go to the damn library and look it up ourselves, in the card catalog!!

There was no email!! We had to actually write somebody a letter – with a pen! Then you had to walk all the way across the street and put it in the mailbox, and it would take like a week to get there! Stamps were 10 cents!

Child Protective Services didn’t care if our parents beat us. As a matter of fact, the parents of all my friends also had permission to kick our ass! Nowhere was safe!

There were no MP3′s or Napsters or iTunes! If you wanted to steal music, you had to hitchhike to the record store and shoplift it yourself!

Or you had to wait around all day to tape it off the radio, and the DJ would usually talk over the beginning and @#*% it all up! There were no CD players! We had tape decks in our car.. We’d play our favorite tape and “eject” it when finished, and then the tape would come undone rendering it useless. Cause, hey, that’s how we rolled, Baby! Dig?

We didn’t have fancy crap like Call Waiting! If you were on the phone and somebody else called, they got a busy signal, that’s it!

There weren’t any freakin’ cell phones either. If you left the house, you just didn’t make a damn call or receive one. You actually had to be out of touch with your “friends”. OH MY GOD !!! Think of the horror… not being in touch with someone 24/7!!! And then there’s TEXTING. Yeah, right. Please! You kids have no idea how annoying you are.

And we didn’t have fancy Caller ID either! When the phone rang, you had no idea who it was! It could be your school, your parents, your boss, your bookie, your drug dealer, the collection agent… you just didn’t know!!! You had to pick it up and take your chances, mister!

We didn’t have any fancy PlayStation or Xbox video games with high-resolution 3-D graphics! We had the Atari 2600! With games like ‘Space Invaders‘ and ‘Asteroids’. Your screen guy was a little square! You actually had to use your imagination!!! And there were no multiple levels or screens, it was just one screen… Forever! And you could never win. The game just kept getting harder and harder and faster and faster until you died! Just like LIFE!

You had to use a little book called a TV Guide to find out what was on! You were screwed when it came to channel surfing! You had to get off your ass and walk over to the TV to change the channel!!! NO REMOTES!!! Oh, no, what’s the world coming to?!?!

There was no Cartoon Network either! You could only get cartoons on Saturday Morning. Do you hear what I’m saying? We had to wait ALL WEEK for cartoons, you spoiled little rat-finks!

And we didn’t have microwaves. If we wanted to heat something up, we had to use the stove! Imagine that!
And our parents told us to stay outside and play… all day long. Oh, no, no electronics to soothe and comfort. And if you came back inside… you were doing chores!
And car seats – oh, please! Mom threw you in the back seat and you hung on. If you were luckily, you got the “safety arm” across the chest at the last moment if she had to stop suddenly, and if your head hit the dashboard, well that was your fault for calling “shot gun” in the first place!
See! That’s exactly what I’m talking about! You kids today have got it too easy. You’re spoiled rotten! You guys wouldn’t have lasted five minutes back in 1980 or any time before!

Regards,
The Over 40 Crowd

The following is a guest post from CareerAlley courtesy of Recruiting Blogswap.

“The qualities that make Twitter seem inane and half-baked are what makes it so powerful” – Jonathan Zittrain

Who would have thought that Twitter would be leveraged for so many different purposes? When I first joined Twitter as a way to let people know that I had posted a new blog on my website, I was fairly naive in terms of how many people are both tweeting and leveraging job search on Twitter.

Why, you may ask, would you want to use Twitter in your job search? Well for one, you get information “real time” in many cases. One of the more important theories of job search is to “get there first” as this gives you the best chance. How does this work? Just take a look at the links below. Leverage the power of Twitter now.

TwitterJobSearch – This site is a job search engine for Twitter. Sounds a little “out there”, but it actually seems to work. The main page is a simple screen with a search bar for “What do you want to do?”. Type in your job type (like Finance) and hit enter and you get results immediately (I got over 22,000 opportunities for Finance when I checked). All of the leads are listed in typical Twitter format, but who has the time to look through 22,000 opportunities? Not to worry, this app takes care of that too. To the right of the search results is a section for “Refine By” with quite few choices. And no need to move to the next day. The page adds additional lines at the bottom as you scroll down.

HOW TO: Find a Job on Twitter – This article, featured on mashable.com and written by Sarah Evans provides a great overview for leveraging Twitter for your job search. Some basics like “make your presence known” and include a link to your resume/cv. There is also a link to a free template for creating a professional Twitter background. At the bottom of the post are links to a few recruiters on Twitter.

UNEMPLOYED? TIPS TO USE TWITTER FOR YOUR JOB SEARCH | CAREERS – This article, from Ceoworld Magazine, gives a brief overview of what Twitter is and how to use it followed by how Twitter can get a job for you. There is also some tips on changing your background, how to prepare your broadcast, tips on who to follow and a long list of job related sites on Twitter at the bottom of the page.

50 Terrific Twitter Tips for Job Seekers – 50 tips from MBA Jobs on how to use Twitter. This article is organized along several topics: Branding, Networking, Etiquette, Tools, and People to follow. There are a number of great tips and, depending on your particulars, you will want to leverage many of these. One, like “add a photo” may not work as well (you will need to decide, like if you look like your 80 when you are really 40). Branding is very similar to the “Market yourself” advice that I often give. My favorite (although you should read all of them) is Tools, (too many to list them all here) but Twittercal is pretty neat. The Tools section has direct links.

Top 50+ Employers Recruiting on Twitter – Okay, but who is looking for potential employees / candidates on Twitter? Job-Hunt’s article lets you know! The article leads with a brief overview and then goes right into it’s list. No need to follow every company listed here, but you should follow those where you think you have the best opportunity to find a job that matches your criteria. An interesting list which also has some non-US listings.

Good luck in your search.

Article courtesy of the Recruiting Blogswap, a content exchange service sponsored by CollegeRecruiter.com, a leading site for college students looking for internships and recent graduates searching for entry level jobs and other career opportunities.

You can quickly earn commissions by referring new Gold members. With time and dedication, you can build thousands of connections that can earn you a significant income that would be the envy of any doctor or banker.
What is the $15 Instant Referral Bonus?
You receive $15 for every new personal referral that upgrades to Gold membership, paid in the first month after they upgrade.

But that’s not all! You continue to receive $5 every month from the second month onwards for each of your Gold referrals – every month – as long as they remain Gold!

Example 1:
If you refer 10 gold members you will receive:

•10 * $15.00 = $150.00 first month
•10 * $5.00 = $50.00 every month thereafter

Example 2:
If you refer 100 gold members you will receive:
•100 * $15.00 = $1500.00 first month
•100 * $5.00 = $500.00 every month thereafter

What is the Ongoing Residual Referral Bonus?
You receive $15 for every new personal referral that upgrades to Gold membership, paid in the first month after they upgrade.

But that’s not all! You continue to receive $5 every month from the second month onwards for each of your Gold referrals – every month – as long as they remain Gold!

What is the Community Participation Bonus?
Swom’s unique Community Participation Bonus pays an extraordinary 50% of company-wide Gold membership commissions into this bonus! This means that you can earn commissions month after month just for participating in what you love – the Swom social network!

What are Community Points?
To earn shares in the Community Participation Bonus Pool, you need community points. Community points are a rough measurement of how much contribution you have made towards the Swom community.

To gain community points, make new connections and interact positively with other Swom members. Have fun! Some actions will earn you community points, while others will allow you to ’spend’ them:

make a new connection +1
post a status update or wall message +1
post a comment or reply +1
refer a new member +1
post a question or answer +1
question is voted up +2 per vote
answer is voted up +5 per vote
post a testimonial (if accepted) +50
win community chest
(you get a small chance of this every time you do any of the above) between 5 – 100
post a message with a link/URL in it Spend 5 points

For questions and answers, a maximum of 30 votes can be cast per user per day.

You can earn a maximum of 200 community points per day (community chests are immune to this limit). Also, there are sometimes special competitions which will allow you to earn more.

On or around the 10th of each month, we add up the total number of community points earned by Gold members during that month. The amount that you earn depends on how many points you have and the size of the bonus pool. The more community points you have, the bigger apportion of the bonus pool you will get!

Tip: Your Community Score appears on your public profile and is a measure of your contribution to the Swom community. Having a higher score will give you better reputation within the Swom community.

How can I increase my commissions?
It’s easy to earn while having fun on Swom! Here’s what you can do to increase your monthly earnings:

Step 1: Promote Swom on the internet
The best way is to refer new members to Swom and help them upgrade to Gold. You will receive $15 in the first month for every Gold member and receive $5 every month thereafter – forever! As long as someone signs up using your referral link it does not matter whether they upgrade straight away or after six months – you will still get the instant and the ongoing referral bonuses each month.

Step 2: Connect with existing members
Another great way is to connect with existing free members on Swom – Explain to them the benefits of Gold membership and help them upgrade. You can then earn shares in the ‘Gold Evangelist’ Bonus Pool which can be lucrative!

Step 3: Participate in groups and conversations – but don’t Spam!
Swom is all about social networking. Connect with people, make lasting relationships and enjoy your time at Swom! By earning Community Points, you build up a great reputation at Swom and a loyal set of connections. Most professional marketers will agree that this alone is priceless but here at Swom we even pay you for having fun!

Can I spam people to increase my Community Score?
Spam, or Unsolicited Commercial Emails (UCE) is immoral, and illegal in many countries. We do not tolerate
spam, and have a strict anti-spam policy.

There is a system which allows members to report unwelcome messages which will lead to lower community scores. In contrast supportive and welcome interaction increases your community scores.

What URL can I use to refer others to Swom?
Your personalized referral link looks like this (replace XXXXX with your Swom ID number)

You can also find your referral link in the home page of the members area. Emails sent out to your email contacts via the Mass Importer will automatically have your referral links on it.

How can I join Swom?
